Why did you become a governor?
I have knowledge of the Holgate school due to links external to the academy and family links to the Academy.
I have a background and wealth of knowledge and experience in Health and Safety and food safety which links with supporting the academy and supports the academies legal obligations.
How did you find out about the role?
Word of mouth from links with the Academy.
What do you like about the role, and how do governors make a difference?
I can offer support derived from the experiences I have relating to health and safety and food hygiene. This support in making a difference for the Academy and making the school a safer place for staff, students and visitors.
I enjoy representing the local academy committee at events in the Academy.
