The Holgate Academy governors are proud to have achieved Governor Mark. This nationally recognised standard measures the effectiveness of governors and the work they do.
To be awarded this mark, there is an external evaluation of the quality of governance at an academy or school. The governing body has to evidence that it follows good procedures and fulfils statutory duties, and there is a high value placed on evidence of impact – the difference the governing body makes.
