On 4 February, The Holgate Academy’s Beauty and the Beast cast celebrated all of the hard work that they put into the school show.
Students from across all year groups (years 7-11) were invited to watch Shrek the Musical, with sweet treats to reward them for all of their efforts. Mr Pennington even came along to thank them for their excellent dedication and professionalism throughout rehearsals, despite any interruptions or disappointments.
The cast have been a credit to the academy and are the perfect example of the academy’s ethos of ‘manners, determination and teamwork’. The Performing Arts Club are already looking forward to their next school show with plans for a summer showcase in full swing!
