Congratulations to the four Holgate students who competed for Ashfield in the Notts Cross-Country Championships at Wollaton Park.
Ciera 14th in the under 16 Girls’ event,
Lucy 27th in the under 16 Girls’ event,
Jemma 34th in the under 14 Girls’ event,
Lewie 53rd in the Year 7 Boys’ event.
It was a terrific achievement just to reach the County Championships, approximately 800 pupils run in each category at the District Events in order to try and reach the County Finals. Well done to all of our students taking part in the event. Our running club takes place every Monday and Wednesday after school at The Holgate Academy.
