On Thursday 8th November 2018 Year 9 students watched a drama about ‘steps to success’ funded by DANCOP. The students also took part in a workshop to find out more about post 16 and 18 education.
‘Steps to Success’ is an engaging 1 hour theatre presentation, looking at options for future routes and how these can all lead to a fulfilling future for all. The show follows three students with very different attitudes to learning and planning ahead. It is an informative and fun introduction to post 16 & 18 pathways, focusing on the different options available (including different routes to higher education) and the importance of planning for a successful and fulfilling future.
The aim of the drama is to widen participation in further and higher education and support students in developing their ideas about their future choices. We hope all students involved with the show found it enjoyable and informative.
