We recently said farewell to our long standing governor, Mrs Tongue.
Students in years 11, 10 and 7 created this bouquet of origami flowers and card as a small token of our appreciation for all the work she has done to strengthen and support the academy in her time as governor. Thank you to the students in the ‘chat and de-stress’ club and the art club for your creations.
On behalf of all the staff and students at The Holgate Academy, thank you to Ms Tongue and all the governors, past and present for volunteering their time for such an important and influential role of guiding the direction of our academy.
