Ski Trip 2017 Blog Day Four

Day four has been another good day here at Bardonecchia. The group have all skied brilliantly and evolved into red runs fairly early on in the day. The evenings activities included a few games of pool and a game of table tennis then ice skating after dinner. The group are now all in the hotel enjoying some free time and watching the football. Hopefully the conditions will hold out for the week as the weather began to warm up. Tomorrow we look forward to another trip to the "cinema" and another days quality skiing.

Ski Trip Blog 2017 Day Three

Another early rise for ski school and the group were ready to go! After a successful dads tuition all students were up the main lifts and down the blue run. The evening entertainment was sledging, so we hung around the slopes to allow any innocent bystanders to escape! The red run was pretty swift on the sledges. Great fun!

Ski Trip 2017 Blog Day Two

It's been another busy day! Our first morning started early for ski school at 9! The group were all ready and dressed well within time and raring to go. We took the walk to the slopes and met our instructor. The group all stuck together for the first session and were making extremely quick progress. After two successful hours we broke for a hurried but substantial lunch. Molly joined in with a more advanced group for the second session while rest of the group honed their evolving skills. After a tiring first days skiing with good conditions we took a walk into town to buy a variety of (mostly chocolate) goods. After some free time we met up again for a girls vs boys quiz. After 2 rounds the score was 1-1 which led to the hotly contested flags round. This also finished in a tie so it was agreed both teams could share the spoils of local stone-baked pizza. We finished the night with a private screening of Toy Story 3 in the "cinema". It's been another busy but enjoyable day and the group are currently slowly slipping off the bed (at 9:30!). Hopefully tomorrow will be just as good!
