On Thursday 15 January, we were delighted and honoured to receive an award from ASSET (Adrian Sudbury Schools’ Education Trust) in appreciation and recognition of our dedication to educating young people about blood, stem cell, and organ donation.
Each year, we invite ASSET to deliver their powerful ‘Register and Be a Lifesaver’ talk to our sixth form students—an opportunity that raises awareness and has the potential to save lives. We know first-hand how impactful these talks are, as two of our former students chose to join the stem cell register following a visit from ASSET.
We were incredibly proud to accept this award, which will be displayed with pride within our sixth form building. We also look forward to continuing our work with ASSET for many more years to come.
