We are delighted to announce that five of our students—one from year 8 and four from year 10—have been successful in the recent Young Writers ‘Stranger Sagas’ creative writing competition and have been selected to have their stories published in the upcoming anthology, ‘Stranger Sagas’.

The competition, open to 11–18-year-olds, challenged participants to explore the weird, the wonderful, and the mysterious, crafting a story in up to 100 words. The tight word limit encouraged students to make careful choices with plot and vocabulary, promoting precision and creativity.

Our students have each been awarded a certificate and bookmark in recognition of their excellent work, and we look forward to receiving a copy of the book once it is published. A huge congratulations to all five students—a fantastic achievement! We can’t wait to see your stories in print.
