Why did you become a governor?
I am a member of the local community and a former student of The Holgate School, I have been involved within education for a number of years. With a career in education providing technical and marketing support and business management for a secondary academy as well as being involved in school governance for several years, I feel I can use my experience to help challenge, support and promote the school to help raise the standards of education of students within the Hucknall community.

What do you like about the role, and how do governors make a difference?
The role gives me a good overview of all areas of the school.
