Last month, we were delighted to host a ‘Class of 2024’ celebration evening, where students and their parents were invited to attend this special event. The evening took place at our very own Hucknall Sixth Form Centre, where some students were presented with awards for their hard work, commitment, and dedication during their time with us.
Our winners list
- Sport – Awarded to Jemma for succeeding through great work ethic and effort.
- Criminology – Awarded to Olivia for achieving above her target grade; a hardworking and enthusiastic student.
- Maths – Awarded to George for his dedication to achieving the best score he could by working independently on additional work.
- Law – Awarded to George for his positive ‘can-do’ attitude towards studying and always striving to understand the subject.
- Tutor – Awarded to George for his constant entertainment and joy, always positive, engaging, and a continuous support to all.
- Finance – Awarded to Chelsea for always trying her very best during lessons, even on the difficult topics. She was resilient and kept going until she fully understood the work.
- Tutor – Awarded to Max for his contribution to tutor time, always enthusiastic about the quiz, and always willing to help and offer advice to others on study skills.
- Biology – Awarded to Beth for being the first student to achieve an A*, a very gifted student who thoroughly deserved it.
- Art – Awarded to Gracie for her full commitment to spending extra time to build her skills and understanding in art.
- Photography – Awarded to Gracie for her fantastic work ethic, quality, and super creativity.
- Computer Science – Awarded to Jack for always working extra hard and independently on his coding.
- Digital Media – Awarded to Harvey for being an exceptional student, very capable as both a theorist and a producer of media.
- Photography – Awarded to Jasmine for showing outstanding refinement and skill.
- Health and Social Care – Awarded to Tammy-Jo for working exceptionally hard and raising her grade to a distinction; hard-earned and well-deserved.
It was a fabulous event, and it was lovely to be able to catch up with last year’s year 13 students. We were able to find out how their university courses are going and how they are managing the new world of full-time work. A fabulous event, and a huge well done to all involved.
