We invite prospective families exploring their secondary school and post 16 options to come along to our autumn term open events to find out more about Holgate and what we can offer.

Main school open evening | Tuesday 22 September
For children in year 6 looking to join year 7 in September 2027.
Families of children in year 6 are invited to join us at our main school open evening on Tuesday 22 September. The evening will provide an opportunity to hear from our Principal, Mr Diamond, and meet the wider teaching and support staff team. Our current year 7 cohort will be on hand to show you around our academy and answer any questions you may have about the transition from primary to secondary.
Sixth form open evening | Thursday 1 October
For current year 11 students looking at their post 16 options for a September 2027 start.
Students in year 11 are invited to find out more about our Holgate sixth form at our open evening on Thursday 1 October.
There will be opportunity to meet the core sixth form teaching and support team, explore our dedicated sixth form centre, and learn about our high quality careers and futures programme that includes strong links with local businesses and Holgate alumni. Current sixth form students will also be at the event to share their experiences as a Holgate sixth former and take any questions you may have.
