During the last term, our sixth form students embarked on a small project to support the local community by collecting donations for the local food bank.
Together, the students collected eight large bags of food to help boost the stock at the Under One Roof community centre. They supported the effort in various ways: some brought in boxes of food and hygiene products, while others collected money within their tutor groups to purchase long-life items such as pasta and tinned food. Our students also assisted in delivering the donations to the food bank.
We believe this reflects the admirable attitude of our students, who are always willing to go above and beyond for their community. We are very proud of their efforts and would like to express our sincere gratitude to the students and everyone who contributed to the collection. Feedback from Under One Roof was extremely positive, and they were very grateful for all the donations they received.
