This term our students have been invited to showcase the very best of their science-based cakes in The Great Science Bake Off. Open to students in all year groups, the challenge was to create a cake at home, on their own or with their families, that was specifically linked to science.
The range of cakes was fantastic, and the science department had great fun in judging the entries. After careful consideration, Ellie N was the winner with her amazing brain cake labelled with the key parts of this organ. Truly amazing baking and great scientific knowledge!
Second place was shared by Oswald H (also baking us a brain!) and Lacey O for a fabulous Earth cake including all the layers below the surface of our planet! Third place went to Alfie J for his chemistry cake.
