Why study A level English literature?
English literature is the study of how we engage with and think about the world – cultures, human relationships, history, and the history of ideas. This course will enable you to extend and deepen your appreciation of literature, including its changing traditions, and apply your knowledge of literary analysis and evaluation, critically and creatively across texts. You will also explore ideas and actively discuss these with other students, developing your interest in and enjoyment of literature.
