Why study Level 3 health and social care?

The extended certificate in health and social care will develop knowledge, understanding, and skills that will prepare students for progression to undergraduate study. It covers equality, diversity and rights, health and safety, anatomy and physiology, person-centred approaches, mental health, long-term physiological conditions, public health strategies, sexual health, nutrition, and lifestyles.

The course is made up of examined and non-examined parts: you will have to demonstrate applied theory and practical knowledge relevant to health and social care learnt from your studies.
