Why study A level maths?
Maths is a wide-ranging subject that can be used in a number of different education and career pathways. Our course focuses on three main categories – pure maths, mechanics and statistics. Within each of these areas, you will develop a sound understanding of the techniques and principles associated with key elements of maths and how these can be applied.
Students who have completed this course have moved on to study maths at a higher level as well as careers in statistics, engineering, accountancy and science.
