Our students braved damp weather this afternoon (Tuesday 18 July) to take part in a five kilometre run around The Holgate Academy fields for Sports Day.
It was a valiant effort by all, with staff members also taking part.
Pictured are some of the first student runners over the line, with teachers Mr Perrin and Ms Lord.
Music teacher Mr Butterworth and his students played the tired runners into the final stretch with a rendition of The Proclaimers I’m Gonna be (500 miles).
