Earlier this week staff surprised students in our year 7-10 students by providing an enrichment period during the first lesson of the day with activities that are beyond the normal curriculum.
The purpose of this exercise was to give students the opportunity to learn something new about the world we live in. This included trying activities themed around problem-solving, real-life and moral decision-making, puzzle and code breaking, and learning about other cultures. Students were also encouraged to be active and try their hand at new sports such as Ultimate Frisbee.
As you can see from the photos, our students (and staff) had a great time. Hopefully this will inspire some of our children to carry on trying new activities or having a think about the skills they will need as they move into further education and employment
