It was all about fashion and fun at The Holgate Academy 2023 Prom.
The year 11 students’ prom was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham-Gateway hotel, Cinderhill, on Friday (7 July)
Sunny weather greeted students arriving in a variety of interesting ways; including horse-drawn carriage, motorbike and classic cars.
Stylish outfits were definitely on show for the event, which welcomed students with a red carpet entrance and (soft) drinks reception.
The hotel’s ballroom was decorated in black and silver, and included giant illuminated PROM letters.
A hot buffet was followed by the Holgate Awards. Students also voted for their prom King and Queen.
Mr Lambert, head of year 11, said: “It was a truly great evening enjoyed by a truly great bunch of young people.”
