On Tuesday 9 June, our year 12 students visited a UCAS discovery event at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield.
A UCAS discovery event provides the perfect opportunity to explore all future options under one roof and offers students support with traditional degrees, apprenticeships, careers, and more.
Our students were able to chat with various universities and colleges about their courses and university life, speak with employers and apprenticeship providers about what an apprenticeship is like and the options available, talk to qualified careers advisers about their future, hear from experts in their fields, and spend time with our UCAS advisers.
It was a great trip, and our students found the event incredibly worthwhile. All students were exceptionally well behaved and were a credit to themselves and Holgate.
