We are thrilled that our sixth form Centre has had confirmation of their re-accreditation of being a Centre of Excellence for Financial Education.
This status demonstrates that they are providing practical, effective and sustainable financial education for their students, above and beyond the required award criteria.
Programme manager, Melissa Garrett, said: “Your coherent programme of financial education is a fantastic foundation for all of your young people and a credit to all of the staff involved.”
Further feedback included comments on the leadership and management: “It is clear from the evidence submitted of the continued importance of financial education to HSFC and to the role played by the Centres of Excellence programme. This is particularly evident in your continued development of provision despite the challenge of the pandemic and structural changes that have taken place recently.”
We are proud of this status and the confirmation of the hard work HSFC does to support their students, we hope many of our Holgate students will benefit from this now and in the future.
