We are delighted that you are considering The Holgate Academy sixth form as an option for the next stage in your educational journey. Our offer combines a broad range of subjects and qualifications, alongside numerous enrichment activities which we trust will ensure you feel confident and excited to join us in the coming academic year, whichever school you attended for secondary education.
We are proud to provide an inclusive environment which caters for level 2 and level 3 students to support their further study needs and interests through a focused curriculum.
Our team of specialist teachers will offer support and guidance in your chosen subjects, whilst our dedicated tutors will work with you to build your confidence academically and personally.
Our pastoral provision will ensure you are given extra-curricular opportunities aimed at enriching your experience to ensure you get the most from your time with us – all of this will help to prepare you for the next steps, whether that be university, an apprenticeship, or employment.
Sixth form is a bridge to prepare you to take on a greater level of responsibility; it offers new freedoms not available in years 7 to 11 and you will be expected to take an adult approach to learning, managing your time, and meeting expectations.
