Year 12 and 13 Holgate photography students had the opportunity to take a trip to Nottingham Trent University (NTU) on 31 January to experience the darkroom.

It was a fantastic day and students explored a range of traditional dark room processes and produced a series of photograms and acetate prints.

The NTU photography lecturer commented on how creative, independent and skilled the students were. They listened to instructions and applied them in a innovative manner which really impressed him.

A wonderful opportunity for our post 16 students.
