On Wednesday 26th year 9 students took part in a careers day provided by education by design. They worked with providers to take part in a range of workshops based around Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) including; STEM Careers Quiz, Robots Employability session, Future Thinking – creativity in STEM and iRail enterprise activity designing a station.
The students really enjoyed the robotics workshop and learned great deal about the opportunities in engineering. This is just one of the many Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) opportunities for students at The Holgate Academy.
