A group of our year 10 and 11 students recently took a trip to the Theatre Royal to see a performance of ‘An Inspector Calls’, and they were absolutely buzzing afterwards!  Some commented on the metaphors used on stage as part of the performance, highlighting the value of this kind of experience in inspiring students, and we’re sure this will support their responses in their exam whilst also raising their awareness of why the play was created by J.B. Priestley.

It was great to be able to take students out of school to the Theatre and myself, Miss Cousins and Mrs.Abbott are all thrilled that everybody enjoyed the show.

The students represented themselves and the Academy beautifully, demonstrating outstanding Manners, Determination and Teamwork!  Not only were Miss Cousins, Mrs Abbott and myself delighted that students really enjoyed the experience, we were also incredibly proud of them!
