Today marked a brilliant start for our new year 7 students, and we couldn’t be more proud of them! From the moment they stepped through the gates this morning, they’ve been impressing us with their positive energy, good manners, and eagerness to learn.

Staff who welcomed the students at the entrance noted how polite and safety-conscious the students were as they arrived at school. The first order of the day was an assembly where they listened and showed a real eagerness to starting Year 7.

Head of Year 7, Mr Pattullo, who welcomed the students at their first assembly, was delighted with their punctuality and the pride they showed in their uniforms. Alongside Principal Mr Diamond and Vice Principal Miss Chauhan, he relayed the positive feedback they’d already received from various staff members.

After assembly, students spent time in their form groups before starting their lessons. The day provided them with the opportunity to shine across a range of subjects. Whether asking insightful questions in English or producing outstanding work in maths and science, our new year 7s are off to a fantastic start.
