An important part of students’ development and understanding of careers they may aspire to is the work experience week they undertake in year 10. Many of our students will choose to find placements that are linked to their onward employment goals, and this experience can help shape their thinking as they move into higher education and beyond.
Work Experience week takes place between 30 March – 3 April 2020. Students need to source their own placement and provide details by 14 February 2020 to Mrs McKenna or Mrs Pearson. This can be in the form of a letter of agreement from the company or the work placement details sheet that students have been provided. We can then ensure that the placement is suitable for our students, and support anyone who has not been able to secure a suitable work experience opportunity.
