The curriculum in year 12 and beyond
Our sixth form prepares all students for the next steps in their careers. A combination of highly relevant A Level and BTEC courses enables students to progress to further study at university or enter work-based employment. English literature, the sciences, criminology, and history continue to be popular choices among our students.
To study three Level 3 qualifications in year 12, we expect students to have achieved a minimum of five grade 5 qualifications at GCSE in subjects relevant to their sixth form choices. Where applicable, students must also meet any individual subject entry requirements.
