Key stage 4

Film studies is an optional course offered at key stage 4 only.

Why study film studies?

Students who have equally balanced creative, technical and writing skills will be ideal for the film studies course. The course demonstrates how all films begin with a written concept and then develop into an audio-visual artistic piece – students will learn and understand the processes behind this. Students who would like to develop their artistic skills are ideal for the course – it allows individuals to demonstrate their creativity through production tasks.
